I believe that movement is one of the most powerful tools for managing stress, improving strength, and feeling your best—especially during life transitions like perimenopause. As a Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor, and Clinical EFT Practitioner, I help busy women incorporate effective workouts, mindful movement, and stress-relief techniques into their daily lives.

With a holistic approach, I focus on building strength, balancing hormones, and reducing anxiety—because true health isn’t just about fitness, it’s about feeling good in your body and mind. Whether it’s a 20 minute strength session, a grounding yoga practice, or EFT tapping to release emotional blocks, my goal is to provide tools that help you feel stronger, calmer, and more energized.

EFT TAPPING: RELEASE STRESS & RESTORE BALANCE

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, is a simple yet powerful tool to help reduce stress, release emotional blocks, and bring a sense of calm to your mind and body. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in negative thought patterns, EFT can help you regain control and move forward with more ease.

How It Works: EFT can be a standalone session or seamlessly incorporated into personal training or yoga to support both physical and emotional well-being. Through guided tapping on specific points, we’ll work to ease anxiety, release limiting beliefs, and improve overall mental wellness.

Why It Matters for Your Health: Stress impacts everything—from sleep and digestion to energy levels and hormone balance. EFT helps regulate your nervous system, supporting total health from the inside out.

EFT is a simple yet effective way to reset your nervous system and feel more grounded. Let’s tap into a calmer, more confident you!

I’ve done both movement and EFT tapping with Laura in a group setting and she is so kind, approachable, and patient.

She really works with you as an individual to come up with sayings that you can wrap your brain around and guide you to feel what is going on in your body and mind during your hangups.  With movement, she is wonderful at allowing you to make modifications as needed and just getting you to start moving rather than making you fit into a little box of “you must work out hard for at least 30 minutes to see any results”. Because whenever I’ve tried that in the past, I end up quitting.  Laura’s approach toward health and mindset clearly comes from a place of experience and heart.  I cannot recommend her services enough.  ~LL

To be honest, I’m surprised at how much I am enjoying Laura’s yoga class! I have very little experience with yoga and was worried (intimidated!) by starting but liked the idea of viewing/participating from the comfort of my own home. Her guidance is easy to follow and she encourages you to do what works for your body and what is comfortable. I know my balance has improved (didn’t know it was that bad lol) and overall flexibility. Still a long way to go but i look forward to the classes and feel a sense of accomplishment when done!  ~KM

Before trying tapping, I had a sugar addiction, hardly moved my body, and had gained a pile of weight.  I felt sluggish and gross and exhausted all the time.  I have had so many shifts in the last several months after tapping & exercising with Laura.  With her guidance , I have been able to make some deep connections  about some resistance I was holding about creating new healthy habits.  I have been able to create new habits such as looking for joyful movement instead of viewing exercise as a punishment,  becoming part of the 5 am club,  having  time to meditate, make a healthy breakfast and move my body daily.  I cut out sugar successfully , lost 15 lbs by just doing that, and it now feels  so easy to maintain that habit.  ~MH

Working with Laura has literally changed my life. I had surgery after an old injury which I had hoped would solve all my problems but I was so out of shape that I still couldn’t do all the activities I wanted to do with my kiddos. As a result, my boys never got to see that once athletic side of me. I basically gave up and resigned myself to the fact that I would never get to experience that lifestyle with them. Last year, one of my friends (who has been going to Laura for years) encouraged me to join some of Laura’s sessions. I decided to give it a try and it was one of the best decisions in my life! Long story short, my family and I bought downhill ski memberships last winter and we finally skied together (well, they are slightly more adventurous than me but that’s old age wisdom, not capability!), and we go hiking and biking and I can usually keep up with them and do the harder trails again. Next up is re-starting tennis although I now play pickleball with friends and am really enjoying that! I also have to mention that to top it off, not only can I do these things, but I am pain-free during the activities and, also, the next day!  Thank you, Laura, for being so supportive and non-judgemental and I look forward to continuing to work with you!  ~JF

I am a working mom with two young boys, so needless to say, my days are stressful and exhausting, the majority of the time. In the past, “self-care” didn’t really exist.  Late last year, Laura came along and helped me to realize how important it is to step away from my work (and family at times) and make time for myself – without feeling guilty.  Our meetings are a combination of strength, cardio and mobility and a lot of fun!  The time flies by and I forget all about my stress and worries, even if only for the hour.  Little by little, these sessions are helping me change the way I think, feel and deal with my busy life.  Thanks Laura – you’re the best!   ~BB

I love my sessions with Laura, from both a physical and mental perspective. I have a very busy mind and a very busy life with work and two young kids but working with Laura allows my mind to calm and stop overthinking. She pushes me where I wouldn’t push myself but also allows me to embrace what my body can do in a healthy, positive way. Since working consistently with Laura, I have found that I’ve been able to bring a lot of those skills and learning into my everyday life through my focus on breathing, learning to let my mind rest, keeping my body moving more regularly, and making the time for it. Laura’s yoga classes are great. The class length is perfect—long enough to feel like you’ve had a thorough workout without being overwhelming. She has an incredible ability to remind you to breathe at just the right moment.  She gently points out small adjustments that make a huge difference in maximizing each stretch. Before starting to work with Laura, I struggled to move consistently.  I did not have the discipline to show up for myself regularly.  Laura = accountability and a safe place for me to be me.  Laura is not only a fantastic personal trainer but also an excellent listener.  And THAT makes the workout days that much more effective as body and mind are intertwined.  The days I go and workout with laura, I feel like I manage to reset my body and mind.  The consistency has been the key to turning my workout routine into a habit I don’t ever want to break.  I need these ‘resets’ to live my every day life with more clarity and ease.  Thank you Laura, for doing what you do because you are making a difference in my life.  ~AI

For many years I've been up and down with my weight and with training. Between work, and kids and everything else in life, I find that I always put myself last and don't make any time for myself unless I have "that" appointment. That appointment with Laura that hold me accountable and gives me the time I need for myself. Mentally, physically and there are days emotionally.

My time with Laura is MY TIME.

For many years I was only training 1x a week but over the last few months, Laura partnered me up with another mom and we bumped up our training to 2x a week. Laura understands how life as an entrepreneur is challenging and then adding the mix of a mom, who has time? She thought that going to 2x a week would benefit me in more ways than just my muscles. The additional training is amazing. We hold each other accountable, we push each other to go longer, harder, with heavier weights. There is no competition, just 100% support for one another. I am also finding myself doing walks on my own, or if I miss a work out I make it up and I am holding myself accountable now.
